You need to use EasyEDA editor to create some projects before publishing
[bug] F1 (help) opens in popup and browser; datasheets always in popup

The current default of opening the datasheet in a pop up is useless as it only downloads the PDF. Now the question: How do I enforce  the old behavior of easyEDA (desktop/client) opening it in my normal browser? Update: Pressing  F1/help opens in the popup and simultainisly in the browser.

I was fine with how it was as I have anyway a browser open. That most parts are linked to the store page instead of PDF is also good (often the wanted information is already on the listing). Is there no setting? The easyEDA client on this client opens it in the browser. The fresh install on a diffrent PC uses the popup Window.

Suggest changing the Category of your topic to Bug Report.

Go a head. Is it a bug that it opens in the window/popup or is it a bug that it opens in the browser? Would  need to double check but accidently hitting F1 might opend the help page in the normal browser.

That depends on how you see it. Is the bug what it used to do or is the bug what it does now? Which do you prefer to think of as the bug? Maybe making this a Feature Request instead of a bug report would be more appropriate: I don't know.  It's your call. "Go a head" Like I said it's your call: only you can edit your OP and change the Category by clicking on the Edit button on it. :)

Prfered option somebody tells me I missed the menu and there is the option as somehow this install is setup in the way I like.

Just tested it and indeed F1 opens the popup and the browser.
