Hi Is there a way t make a template that I can use several schematics on the same PCB? I have a requirement for several circuits to be used in the same enclosure, I need the same mounting hole and some terminals to be in a precise postion for the enclosure. All of my circuits will use the same basic PCB. Is there a way to do this or will I have to repeat the PCB dimensions & holes on each? Regards Ant

Hi! One way would be to create a project that already has the mounting holes, terminals and other components, that are always going to be there, and have the PCB template done and then just clone the project, rename it and then add the other components. I'd also like to hear from others, maybe they have better ideas. Hope this helps you.

To add to deskpro256's suggestion. Start by creating a dummy schematic which has symbols for the mounting holes and any other components that might be common to all designs and then do Convert to PCB... Then size the PCB and position the holes and any other Footprints on it. Then when you clone it and add more to the cloned schematic, all you have to do is Update PCB... or Import Changes...
