PCBLib - rectangle pads with round corners

Hello, Is there a simple way to create pads with rounded corners? All I can imagine now is to calculate approximated polygon and manually enter lot of coordinates. But I think it's too complicated. :-) I think it's great thing to implement 'radius' option for polygon points or use any manually drawn shape as a pad. Thanks, Yuri

as a hack you could overlap several round pads (which form the corners) and then insert a rectangle or rough poly to cover possible leftovers in the center. It will look a little ugly in the EDA, but would form no DRC errors, yield good Gerbers and would create matching solder mask.

Oval pads are essentially straight sided pads with rounded ends so overlapping those might give a better approximation to rectangular pads with rounded corners. As Tobalt says, use extra pads to cover any internal gaps as required. The pads must all have the same number of course.
