**BUG** Concise problem statement: Concerning PCB: SMT components you have moved from Top Layer to Bottom Layer are moved back to Top Layer after you have clicked Import Changes. (Seems to me that changed Layer Attribute of the Footprint Attributes gets overwritten with the original component attributes from Library) Steps to reproduce bug: create a schematics with a resistor Chose a SMT package (e.g.. R0805) for that res create a PCB select the resistor change Layer from TopLayer to BottomLayer (Pads of component get blue) Hit Import Changes Results: component layer changes again back to top layer (original layer of the package from the library) Expected results: If user has changed component layer this should not be affected by Import Changes Browser: safari

Hi, Not sure if this has always happenend and no-one has picked it up before or if it is a bug introduced as a result of the new 'update package information in-place' feature from the latest upgrade. Sorry about this but there may be a delay in fixing this because most of the developers are off for the Chinese Spring Festival.

Fixed this problem on V3.2.5 It is very hard to fix, for the PCB designed by old than V3.2.5, the import maybe have some rotation problems, after importing, we maybe need to rotate them by manully. Because of the DRC and ratline, it is easy to find that. Form this, we learn a lot, never release a version hurry, for help our users to provide a good import , but cause a big problem. Thanks for you to submit this bug, we can find time to fix.

Hi, thx for the new release, EasyEDA team is very responsive! This is a big advantage, but for sure a risk. SW will never be bug free! But with bug free SW you will never earn money, cause SW will never be bug free ;) Perhaps you have it already, if not, think about introducing it: Set up some standard release (regression) tests for typical use cases. You have an API so you might be able to automize a lot with scripting! You can increase the number of test cases step by step. Let it run overnight and you have a good metering for quality of your release candidate. BTW: I don't want to overrule your project management, just tell me whether I should be quiet ;)
