Hi, >board outline layer but this does not show in the gerber I am sure you can get a slot by drawning a square in the board outline layer, please check the getber zip file, you will find a GKO file. this file is for board outline layer. But when you check the Top layer or bottom layer gerber, you can't see the Hole :). But the best solultion is <https://easyeda.com/Doc/Tutorial/ThelatestupgradeofEasyEDA.html#h.ubs94xpocqt1> , U can draw a **Solid Region** and set the type to NPTH. Then you can see the hole in TOP layer or bottom layer. Please let me know the next try. Dillon

BTW, your files are private. I can't check them, but I guess I know what you mean.

Thanks dillon My method did work and what you said is correct I was using another website to view the gerber (http://mayhewlabs.com/webGerber/) which did not work, it has worked on other boards but not this one for some reason I now see the slot in the gerbv program so I am happy it will work when I am ready for manufacture. The new version of the layout editor is working great :-)
