I have a PCB that has checked ok in DRC check , but there is one thing I'm wondering about before I send it off. In the schematic designer , if you put a component over a wire it will connect automatically ,but I'm not sure if that's true of the PCB. There are some places on the PCB I have moved or changed components/traces and just positioned the component's connection hole over the trace rather than draw a new trace. It looks ok and as I say it checks DRC ok but is it actually going to fabricate properly or do I need to go back and check that every component/trace connection in the middle of a trace has a little dot in the middle?
