What is the best practice of using sub-parts in EasyEDA? We made a symbol for MYBSP line of PoE PD DC/DC converters ([https://www.murata.com/en-sg/products/power/campaign/dcdc](https://www.murata.com/en-sg/products/power/campaign/dcdc)) All have the same pcb footprint. This comes with several variations: [MYBSP0055AABFT](https://www.murata.com/products/productdetail?partno=mybsp0055aabft) - 5V 5.1A [MYBSP0122BABFT](https://www.murata.com/products/productdetail?partno=mybsp0122babft) - 12V 2.125A Do we use sub-parts to make MYBSP \- MYBSP\.0055AABFT - MYBSP.0122BABFT But it seems like the number .1 or .2 at the end is controlled by the system. Or do we make a separate symbol for each? If this is the case, when do you use sub-parts?

Separate symbol for each. Sub-parts are for parts like 7400 logic gates, V2164 VCA and TL074 op amps that have several devices in the same package. The devices do not all have to be the same but they have to be in the same package. Devices with large pin counts like microcontrollers can also be split up that way to help with schematic clarity.
