This is starting to waste a LOT of my time.
When designing PCB's it is extremely difficult to get a property of an item to change and many times it needs to be done multiple times until it eventually works. Sometimes it does not want to work at all.
yes, and look like problem with new version of chrome (Version 65.0.3325.181 (Official Build) (64-bit))
this problem in schematic capture
but also this problem exist in pcb edit program in old chrome
problem actually hard to explain
when you select something and try edit properties in right panel, it just not changed
and sometimes it work and sometimes not
I'm experiencing the same issues using Chrome and Linux - I hope it gets fixed soon as it is really annoying. Thanks for your great work so far. I love the simplicity and the way EasyEDA works - keep up the good work.
@Tutorials ,
I was about to report this as well.
In the previous version i could simply edit a PCB component property by just entering it and clicking somewhere else.
But quite frustratingly for some reason with my chrome in win10, i need to type in the value (cant copy / paste) and press enter (sometimes twice) while still having the mouse over the in put edited. If i fail to do any of this, the property will just switch back to it;s old value.
I have just updated to 5.3.14 before i reported this.
For me it is almost unusable right now. If it worked like this when I was first looking for an editor, I would have moved on and ignored this because of the bugs. I fear easyeda is going to lose customers. Can you please make an old version available? It worked great for years.
I hope it doesn't sound like I'm a troll. I say this because I care.
@koosjr @mchahn It is testing. will release in 24hours, if you can take a test, try [https://alpha.easyeda.com/editor](https://alpha.easyeda.com/editor)
Everything seems to work now in alpha. I'll be using it today and I'll let you know if I find any bugs.
Thanks, and I'm sorry if my message seemed mean.
OK, I have quickly tested the most irritating bits, and it seems to be working MUCH better now.
Ecstatic about the 3-decimal precision.
There is one BIG nice to have I would like though:
If one draws a track on the same layer that there is a copper layer, one cannot see the track as the track and the copper layer is the same colour.
Could you perhaps just make the track for example to change to a white colour while drawing it so that one at least can place it without changing the copper layer to a None-fill region and then back afterwards to solid.
