Quality problem when importing image to silk

Hi! I'm trying to design a silk with high-quality image files, but when I import image file, the quality is too lower between original file even I set simplify level to minimum. Do anyone know how to solve this problem? Because of this problem, I can't add image to silkscreen now.

Can you post an example of the image that you are trying to import? Bear in mind that silkscreen is either on or off, there is no greyscale!

@andyfierman In example, if I try to import file like this ![55-cool-photoshop-text-effect-tutorials-for-designers-in-2018-cool-png-font-600_390.jpg](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/0QtNl1mlT7SM1014mtfLX7u5iiwbL7XVFmGG1IER.jpeg) it results like this ![주석 2019-09-17 025418.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/LlvbXrtSz7rUsNIfChEQyHiy2MUt8R9JiCRR2o7g.png)

Understand the problem. However, if you actually want to import a block of text as a logo then why not just use the Text tool to construct the logo by placing text boxes?

@andyfierman I just used text for examples. In real, I want to use many types of pictures like logos, Texts (with inverting feature), backgrounds, etc. But this problem is not solved, I can't use any files because almost file is complicated like this.

You might like to raise a **Feature Request** to ask for image import to be improved.

@andyfierman Okay. I'll write new topic to Feature Request.

Seconded - I'm often asked to put my customer's logos on the PCBs but it's always a mess

Perhaps any of you could find this usefull [https://easyeda.com/forum/topic/Image-Import-Resolution-Size-issues-94db726d4fd04b83959e743aaeba8b96](https://easyeda.com/forum/topic/Image-Import-Resolution-Size-issues-94db726d4fd04b83959e743aaeba8b96) I happen to have the same issue, the workaround I used is splitting the image I was trying to import into multiple ones and importing them one at the time.

I just figured out a good way for much better resolution in imported graphics! First, output your graphics from whichever graphics program you use, (I use Sketch, and output them as PNGs), at 4x the actual printed size. Then import them into EasyEDA and set all the sliders as you like, (I used 100% on all to smooth out the edges for my particular graphics). Then set the width at 1/4 the size you output. This will bring it back to the actual printed size if you've done the math right. Here's an example of what I placed from an actual printed size graphic versus what I placed from a 4x printed size file (and sizing it in the import process to 1/4 the size): ![old.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/VeirdOpIbO74rLeEhNMwCPw93ngKSMOgaU2UnyBi.png)  ![new.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/iZ9IKQZsBt9FYOcTs4yaoWn2RhdCHly7MbEhz9qP.png) I hope this helps all those graphic designer types out there. :-)

@jtsquid quick followup... I'm finding it easier to output the graphics at 10x the size I need and then when importing it into EasyEDA, all I have to do to get the correct size is move the decimal point to the left one digit, in the width field. Fun!

@jtsquid @Alejandro Pernin @이종현 You probably want to have a look at this extension I made for SVG imports. It imports SVGs without any distortion to details: [https://github.com/xsrf/easyeda-svg-import](https://github.com/xsrf/easyeda-svg-import)
