ROUTING DOES NOT WORK

I AM TRYING TO ROUTE A QUITE SIMPLE 2 LAYERS DESIGN, AND THE ROUTER DOES NOT SUCCEED. 260 NODES ATTEMPTED, 51% SUCCESS. I TRIED 4 LAYERS: FAIL AGAIN. IN THE LAST CASE, THE ROUTER ROUTES NOTHING (NO TRACKS) ON THE COMPONENT SIDE. ONE OR TWO TRACKS INNER1, A FEW ON INNER 2, MORE ON THE COPPER SIDE. I HAVE NO INFORMATION ON THE FAILURE REASON. I TRIED TO MOVE AND ROTATE COMPONENTS, ETC. NOTHING WORKS. I USE THE LOCAL ROUTER. SOMEONE CAN HELP? THANKS

Not enough information about your project. Can you make your project public and post the url to here? Pictures? Try redrawing the board outline. Is the board outline a complex shape?

I noticed, in bold letters in the [EasyEDA tutorial under routing](https://docs.easyeda.com/en/PCB/Route/index.html#Cloud-Auto-Router), even for simple PCBs: **Auto router is not good enough! Suggest routing manually! You can use “RoundTrack(Walk Arroud)” option to route tracks, via right-hand panel - Routing Conflict.**

Hard to tell what the failures are due to without knowing details about dimensions of the board, number of components, etc. But what I would recommend would be to give it more space for now if you can - make the PCB area bigger and spread the parts out a bit and see how that affects results. You can then readjust spacing and dimensions once you get an idea where the complexity is. You can also check your design to determine if you are forcing a lot of cross-over of traces. How you make your connections (e.g., some of the arbitrary pin assignments you choose) can affect that. Pay attention to the ratlines before running the layout. Move parts around so that you reduce cross-over. Ultimately, you may need to be satisfied with getting it to 75-80% and manually routing the rest.
