Radom error connections

I have created a component, a fuse that has the four pins on the footprint and 2 on the scematic. I connect one schematic pin to two pins on the footprint. It works... randomly. For some fuses the program wants to change (the net a think) F1_2 to F1.2 occationally and sometimes the software misses to connect one of the pins. Sometimes when I update the schematic pins get connected in a way (on the pcb) that is not consistent with the  schematic. What is going on? Bug? Is it now allowed to have two pins on the footprint connected to the same pin? If so, why can I create such components? To add to the confusion, I use several fuses on my schematic... usually one or a few of these are causing the issues, not all.

"Is it now allowed to have two pins on the footprint connected to the same pin? " Yes. If you have a 2 electrical pin schematic symbol such as a fuse that is fitted into a fuse holder that has 4 physical pins which are connected as 2 pairs then you can assign two of the pads on the PCB footprint to pin 1 and 2 pads to pin 2. Use the Footprint Manager to check, if necessary to reassign, and to update the symbol to footprint pin mapping. I think I found the issue. One of the pins had a netlist sympol attached to it. I removed that and updated the components and that seems to work now. Thanks for the help. / Anders
