Reference of copied objects when pasting

When I copy objects and then paste them, they don't snap onto the grid in the same relative place, it feels like the reference for the objects is at some random place which doesn't align to the grid.

You can try CRTL+SHIFT+C

Thank you. The offset takes a bit of getting used to but it snaps to the grid, like I want.
