Hi, Thanks for your response. Using more than two layers is only partly an option for me. On the one side it increases the price of the PCB a lot. On the other hand I have to pump the current through a SMD on the bottom layer... so I can make some use of multiple layers, but in the end everything has to go through that one layer with the SMD.
