Renaming Components (changing prefixes) while keeping Schematic->PCB in sync

Using EasyEDA desktop 6.4.7 projects offline mode I've managed to link my old schematic/pcb to the point where Update PCB now reports that they match. Project file here: [https://www.dropbox.com/s/14nh9y9uorqsc38/Pool%20Light%20Controller%20V1.zip?dl=0](https://www.dropbox.com/s/14nh9y9uorqsc38/Pool%20Light%20Controller%20V1.zip?dl=0) Now, I want to rename some components, for example J10 should be LED1A, J9 should be LED2A, so that I get the correct labels on my circuit board. It seems that _depending on whether I manually connected the nets starting from the MOSFET (Qx) or the connector (Jx),_ the name of the net will be different. If I started on the MOSFET (back when I made the schematic), and today manually rename J10 to LED1A in _both the schematic and PCB_, then they will both track, and Update PCB detects to changes. On the other hand, if I started on the connector and do the same thing, then Update PCB will **lose the trace**. I worked around the project by using a text editor and very carefully searching and replacing one by one, but this is fraught with peril because J1 is a short identifier and there can be false positives in base64 encoded data. Also, the layout of the files are _really_ not conducive to text editing as there is no human-readable layout and **no line breaks** whatsoever... My schematic is fine now, but it would have been so much better if the rename function did this automatically! I'm sure this has been requested before, but I'm am doing it too, to perhaps help illustrate that this is a real issue. Thank you for otherwise excellent software!

Please place netlabel on the wire at the schematic

@UserSupport Thank you for the suggestion, I tried adding two net labels in the schematic: ![image.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/ptBVJldyIpvwpKK9KrCd3fcWCm2Xr71BeDnWcp15.png) Is that correct? After I've added the two netlabels and use "Update PCB", the following changes are detected: ![image.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/VKA8Fomqb9h3WQODjD4Lq56TSY7Phy6DUe4aNUvG.png) The net is not renamed -- it is deleted. It completely loses track of the trace! The trace is still there but it doesn't belong to the new netlabel. ![image.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/3Jez8qgTdh1ytCPzBeimMSbIx7mQTRkyovLZuoiW.png) This doesn't seem to do what I meant in the feature request. Did I miss something?
