Replacing component

If I have laid out a PCB and it's been routed what is the best way to replace a component like a resistor with one with a slightly different footprint? I have made the change to schematic but run into problems with traces after importing changes to the PCB.

Use the option to also update the 'Track's net' which can be found at the very bottom of the 'Confirm Importing changes information' window. _ Regards.

For general knowledge be sure to have the components turned as the originals were. I guess my new nets were not correct. No trace lines followed the replacement resistors which messed me up.

I am also new to EzEDA, but I am guessing you can look into the script document.
