I have had great success with EasyEDA on 2 layer boards. However, when attempting to route more complex designs (4 & 6 layer boards) with inner layers, the router never finishes, **but makes very little use of inner layers.** In addition the auto-router routes many signals from surface mount parts (e.g. GND and VCC nets) on the top or bottom layer, when connecting directly to the VCC or GND plane using a via next to the SMT pad would be a much better choice. Any guidance or settings on how to teach or configure the router to be more efficient would be appreciated.
Thanks,
An example: in which router gives up but leaves inner layer 4 (signal layer) virtually unused ...
