**BUG** Concise problem statement: Steps to reproduce bug: 1. Draw a horizontal net line on a schematic 2. Put a net name on it, where the name is above the line Results: The net name is right on the line Expected results: Net name is far enough above the net line to look good Browser: Firefox

How far is good enough? :) ![enter image description here][1] [1]: /editor/20151215/566f99ab9a812.png

I think there should be a small gap between the bottom of the lowest possible descender and the line. This is obviously an aesthetics issue, and I am no expert at it ;-) See the image below. The top is how I see it today. The bottom is what I think would be good. When you have vertical lines, I believe the example above is wrong. The line should be adjacent to the bottom of the letters no matter the orientation, so in the above case, the letters should be to the left, not the right of the line. ![Top - current, bottom recommended][1] Thank you [1]: /editor/20151216/56705306f0b8f.png

Hi Mesopcb, This doesn't affect the spacing of the netlable to the wire but you can rotate the text of a netlabel around it's attachment point (the grey dot that appears when you select the netlabel). Just select the netlable and then hit the spacebar (or `R`). I can't promise anything but it may be possible for us to reposition the grey dot so that it is just below the 'n' of 'netlabel' by the same spacing that it is to the left of the 'n'. With the text of the netlable horizontal, that would give a small spacing between the wire and the lower edge of the text as in your illustration. :)

Thanks, Andy. Yes, I was aware of the ability to rotate the text. This isn't a big deal, but the schematic would be a bit prettier with it, and also a bit easier to read.

Hi, You will see the new feature next week. But this just can be see on new design, can't change to old design. It is not difficult to fix. Thanks. Hope you like EasyEDA. ![enter image description here][1] [1]: /editor/20151216/5670c9bd41cf2.png

Dillon, Thank you very much. One of the things I like the most about EasyEDA is the very rapid response to customers. Happy New Year!
