Hey there,
if you add a Schottky diode, you get a proper cathode-anode symbol in the schematic, but it is assigned a SOT23 package. I can't reconcile the symbol with the DO214 package I just created, as this one has a C and an A pad...
Not sure if I properly understand your question but if you double click on the symbol in the EasyEDA Libs panel then it will open so that you can edit the part to create your own version.
Don't forget that the single diode in a sot-23 package only has two pins anyway, one of the pins is just not connected in the package. The underlying spice model has only two pins too.
You can edit the Package attribute in there.
Then if you save that to My Parts and you also have the relevant package saved in My Parts when you place it in the schematic and pass it through to PCB, your part with your package will appear in the new PCB.
If you are updating a package in the schematic then to get it into the PCB, do:
> **Super Menu > MIscellaneous > Import Changes...**
Actually, as long your have saved the new package to My Parts, **Import Changes** works even if you use the same symbol in the schematic and just change:
> **Custom Attributes > package**
in the right hand Properties panel, to your new package.
* Oh! Is this what you need?
