**BUG** Concise problem statement: Shift+F search is broken if search term has period in it. I want to find a 6.35mm jack socket. If I search for `6.35mm` then in the old site that was OK. On the new site `6.35mm` is shortened to `6` In other words, the decimal point/period and everything to the right of it is stripped out. Browser: Chrome, Firefox.
