Simulate AC sweep on CrossOver
3065 6
javierAizpuru 7 years ago

I'm new to electronics, I made an Audio crossover and I would like to test it's frequency response. I really don't understand the tutorial on how to simulate, can some one explain me what I have to change or add to the circuit to simulate it? Also, in the AC simulation section, what it's a "point"?

You need to:

  1. add a ground symbol;
  2. add an input voltage source configured as an AC Source;
  3. add volprobes (voltage probes) on each of the twitter and woofer outputs;
  4. set up an AC sweep simulation.

For information about this and much more, please see:

If you make your project public then I can help you create a working simulation schematic.

This is the error that I get:

Either add a 1G resistor from the junction of C3 and C4 to ground to provide the necessary DC path to ground from this node or replace C3 and C4 with a single capacitor of 1.65uF because 2 caps in series have a total value of C1*C2/(C1+C2).

You may like to remove the connectors because they have no model that would have any meaning in this simulation.
