Hi,
I've been trying out EasyEDA and I kicked off with a simple textbook common emitter amplifier circuit. Unfortunately the output waveform showed an in phase copy of the input (sin), about 10% less amplitude. So, I suspected my design, I poached an example off the web and got the same result. In EasyEDA it is as if the input signal is taking a route round to the collector via the +12V rail.
So I tried the same design in MultiSim and got the correct class A amplification.
So back in EasyEDA I did some simple ohms law testing to see if that would work as expected - it does.
I've been over the tutorial videos again, I can't see what I'm missing. I think it is possible that my +12V is not actually a +12V supply, but a simple path for the input signal to get to the collector via one of the bias resistors.
Is there anything obvious I am missing?
Thanks,
