Simulation runs, but no results window

I've had a window pop up after attempting to run a simulation, but only because I had errors. After correcting those errors, I "run the document", set my AC analysis parameters, a window pops up that says "connecting to server: waiting". After several seconds that window goes away and that's it, no other pop ups. I have voltage probes in my circuit so I'm not sure why this is happening or what it means. Anyone else experience this or know the cause? Thanks.

Hi, Can you post an image of your schematic? From https://beta.easyeda.com/mark_hoffman/components , It seems you have some components without spice models.

Hi Mark, The most likely reason for this behaviour is that you have some sort of syntax error in the schematic. A common gotcha is using a parameter in an expression and then forgetting to define the parameter in a .param statement. Like this: * .param Rval=1k ; you must have this statement to define Rval * R1 net1 net2 {Rval} ; you must have the .param statement above * Or misspelling a parameter between the .param statement and the expression it is used in. Basically look for typos and inconsistencies in naming parameters. * It would be good if ngspice as used in EasyEDA could be configured to give more detailed information for this kind of error. :)

I will also look at my netlist to see if it can provide anything w.r.t. parameter statement. Thank you for the replies.

Hi, Just I told, there are too many compoents without spice model/subckt . At present, we don't have spice model for your switch, relay, transform

Dillon, I'm not too familiar with EasyEDA yet, is this something I can create on my own using EasyEDA and use in my schematic or not?

Sure, https://easyeda.com/Doc/Tutorial/ and https://easyeda.com/Doc/Tutorial/spiceSimulation.htm#SpiceSimulation

Mark, Converting your schematic into something you can simulate is not straightforward. It can be done but you need to understand a little more about SPICE and how to structure schematics for simulation in EasyEDA. Fortunately, help is at hand here in the EasyEDA Simulation eBook: https://easyeda.com/Doc/Simulation-eBook/ There are however, some issues in the Table of Contents of this version of the eBook which I am working to resolve but you can download a copy of the whole html document from here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxSnqhiCbZEjRXNfaHl4UXkyejFhRF9GbzBXMWNlLVlGT1Y0/view?usp=sharing Once downloaded, if you just click on the html file, it should open in your browser (or just drag and drop the file into a browser window or tab).

As it happens, I have just finished writing a spice model for a SPDT relay - unique to EasyEDA - that can be tailored to any non-latching device just from the datasheet parameters. This should be available in the EasyEDA library soon but if you need it sooner, please post back. Also, of course, please post back with any other questions you may have. :)
