So I'm finishing my board and starting to export the gerber files for validation.
As per https://docs.easyeda.com/en/FAQ/Editor/index.html#How-to-add-a-slot-and-cut-out it states that you can use both of these tools, but they are quite different.
With solid region NTPH: it's on BoardOutline.GKO layer, it doens't create DRC errors when near a pad, lacks rounded corners.
How would PCB fab interpret rectangle solid region NTPH in BoardOutline? If they interpret it as a milling, where does the drill stop? Should I add the arrow like endings to them?
With Pad with attribute "Plated: No", and "Hole shape: Slot", it's in drill_NTPH.DRL layer, it creates DRC errors, has rounded corners, but also has solder mask applied to it, even with solder mask parameter set to 0 mil.
How would PCB fab interpret having the copper in "BottomLayer.GBL" onto hole in NTPH layer, even if it's contained inside of the hole.
I would rather use solid region as it doesn't create DRC erorrs, but I'm unsure how it will come out.
