This week I messed up an old pcb trying to change some burnt components due to an electrolytic capacitor that shorted out. With that, a large current passed in track causing a considerable burn and leaving a hole in the board. Although I managed to recover the usability of the board, with intelligent wiring of the components, aesthetically the board is very ugly. So I thought I would clone this pcb and send it to JLPCB. I thought of scanning the board and importing the image into EasyEda's PCB editor to do this. I checked that there is an option to import an image, but the purpose of this option is completely different from what I thought.
Searching on Google, I found several videos teaching how to clone a PCB using software (Sprint Layout). From the videos, I saw that it allows you to insert an image, crop it, align and, finally, place the footprint of the components on the image, and from this point start drawing the tracks.
I think this feature is missing in Easyeda's PCB editor.

Angelo.
