Hello, I have created a footprint with toplayer copper. There are many 3mm lengths joined to make it. In DRC errors is many track to track errors. How do I join all those tracks together on the footprint.
@Corum10,
Is this a footprint that you have created directly in the PCB Editor or is it a PCB Lib created in the PCB Lib Editor?
If you have created it using tracks and not pads directly in the PCB Editor, i.e. straight onto the PCB design, then you probably need to create the solder mask aperture for the area that functions as the pad.
Otherwise they will be treated as copper track and so will be covered by solder mask.
Also beware that if you update the PCB from a schematic, footprint structures created directly in the PCB may be overwritten.

@andyfierman,
I made the footprint by bringing up another of my footprints in Libs and editing. It is an antenna, so I drewit with the toplayer and bottomlayer routing tool.
After reading your books I went and added soldermasks to all pieces as they wont be soldered to. Now if I bring Toplayersoldermask and bottomlayersoldermask into Layers window they both show up as purple. I think thats correct now. Thanks
If the pads of the PCB Lib are all connected together, make sure they are all given the same number. And if they are pads in a PCB Lib, leave the netname attribute blank.
