So I found where I can set a track width design rule for specific nets in my design. However after setting a few design rules and going back to my PCB, the track tool still lays down new tracks at the same size on these special nets as the default, not what I set. Now I know I can use +/- keys to change the track width at will but 1) I have no idea how big the track is when I do that, and 2) that doesn't affect the vias which I can't for the life of me figure out how to size up or down. Please help. EDIT: I did find in the side panel where I can type in and view the size of both the tracks and the vias. However like I said before I expected these design rules to drive the track tool and the automatic via it places when I move between layers while placing tracks. Are the track and via tools just not that smart yet? If so they really should be.
