Track drawing

The instructions don't work for drawing tracks. I click on a point and the track begins (but NOT colored like in the example) I drag the mouse and a track is drawn, but when I click again it disappears and the rat line reappears. If I draw a new track it is not visible until I mouse over and can see it but it disappears as soon as I move the mouse. If I double click it appears, but disappears when I click somewhere else. Why does this NOT behave like the Tutorial?

This behavior only for the schematic, the PCB layout please use track, hotkey W

Yes, what you describe happens when you try to fix a trace in the PCB view, but if you go back to the schematic and fix it, then refresh your PCB, it will fix itself.  As far as I know, don't add parts,  or traces in PCB view, PCB view is just to arrange your parts on the pCB board, not make changes to the schematic, do that in the schematic view.  Strange things can happen if you try to do things out of order.

@WellSight, If you are creating your PCB directly in the PCB Editor and not using **Convert to PCB...** from a Schematic in the Schematic Editor then please see: [https://easyeda\.com/forum/topic/How\_does\_the\_Connect\_Pad\_to\_Pad\_tool\_work\_\-JgQO0Ay7H](https://easyeda.com/forum/topic/How_does_the_Connect_Pad_to_Pad_tool_work_-JgQO0Ay7H)
