Trouble with parameterized 5-pin OpAmp

Hi, I'm having trouble with EasyEDA's parameterized 5-pin opamp. I've been searching but there isn't much for troubleshooting in this area yet. It is a trimmed version of an overdrive effect pedal, but the only output I get is slowly raised DC voltage at output instead of a modified AC signal. It isn't complete since the schematic originally uses a dual-opamp but I don't believe that has much bearing. I am new to SPICE and still relatively new to opamps but I believe my problem is in using the opamp model, any help would be appreciated. Here is my current schematic: https://easyeda.com/editor#id=ExPvNHZhzR

Hi Andrew, * Sorry but the schematic you have posted a link to is not public so we can't see it. In the meanwhile, if you've not found it already please have a look at - and a play with the examples in - the EasyEDA Simulation eBook: https://docs.google.com/document/u/1/d/1OWZVVFRAe_2NW3WratpkA_SGuHa5AcRow5ZRfvcoVTU/pub (The Google links above are to the original copy of the Simulation eBook which you can also find at: https://easyeda.com/Doc/Simulation-eBook/ but the table of contents in the EasyEDA copy is broken and misses out some sections. We are working to fix it but in the meanwhile the copy published to the web from Google Drive works just as well.)

If you are interested, I have some other analogue effects circuit simulations based on other full wave rectification techniques to produce 2x, 3x, 4x etc. harmonic content and one for octave and a double octave down content generation based on zero crossing detection and divide by 2 and 4 circuit driving +/-1 gain switched stages. They are not complete as they are in development for future EasyEDA public projects but if you're interested, please post back.

Thanks the links helped clarify that it was a power supply issue and not opamp emulation. I would be interested in seeing the circuit simulations you mentioned, though.

Glad you're up and running sims now. I'll tidy up the other sims I mentioned and let you know when I've made them public.

@andyfierman Hello Andy, today I read this old post. And I would be very interested to learn more about analogue effects circuit simulations . It would be great if you post me a link to get more Infos about this. See you thomasx

Would you like to know about the circuits I have made public or about guitar effects in general? Meanwhile, here are some interesting online resources: http://guitarscience.net/papers/guibook.pdf http://www.thatraymond.com/downloads/solidstate_guitar_amplifiers_teemu_kyttala_v1.0.pdf http://www.ee.oulu.fi/~arik/schematics.html
