Brief title for your desired feature: Turn Off Object Types
How would you like the feature to work?
I want to be able to turn off types of objects like I can turn off layers. I want to be able to turn off traces, text, pads, holes, polygons, etc. We can already do this (sort of) with copper pours.
Why is this feature important to you?
There are times when I need to observe parts of my PCB. Turning off some of the objects would be useful because it would let me isolate what I want to look at. Turning off layers is not enough.
Brand new interactions and interfaces. 
Easy to use and quick to get started. 
You are right, this is on our TODO list, just move it +1
and we will add a fucntion remove items filter too, such as text, tracks etc.
