Two different PCB layouts from one schematic

Odd requirement I know but I have a single schematic that is laid out onto two different PCB sizes to suit different enclosures.  I don't want to keep updating two copies of the schematic as something will invariably go wrong, but I can't see a way to link a schematic to two different PCBs.   It also seems to be impossible to clone an edited schematic into a second existing project with the PCB already there so I can then hit Update PCB. Any suggestions ?

You can save 2 PCBs into the same project. Or create one, do Save As... to save a copy with a new name and then edit it to make a different layout. When you do **Update PCB** from the schematic it will ask which PCB you want to update. If you do **Import Changes** from either of the PCBs then it will compare that PCB with the schematic. As long as both versions of the PCB are electrically identical to the schematic then that should work ok. The only things you can change between the two PCBs is if you generate one PCB with one set of Mounted attribute settings and generate the second from the same schematic but with a different set of Mounted attribute settings. That ok because the Mounted attribute is a schematic attribute and actually has no effect on the PCB. All it does is alter what parts are included in the BoM.

@andyfierman Hmm - not what I seemed to find happened but maybe that is because I am new to this toolset.  I'll try again. Thanks for all your help. Mike

When I click update schematic to pcb the new pcb opens but no components. How do I create another pcb linked to the same schematic?

@townie_au Hello, you can only have one schematic and one pcb under one board in easyeda pro, you can add multiple schematic pages but not multiple schematics. All contents of the schematic page can be updated together to the pcb.![image.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/2mSyhecLIoA83z5TDvHh7QO9zPbsQEPwGbbLO6tD.png)
