Hello guys, Do you know what pins 5 and 6 stands for this USB connector? [https://easyeda.com/component/8da16a7f1e1c4a06952acc412b337b14](https://easyeda.com/component/8da16a7f1e1c4a06952acc412b337b14)<br> <br> I think they are shields but cannot confirm it in the datasheet. Thanks

Hello, yes they are the shield connections. Also work as support.

@e.durso7, They should be connected to ground. Although it is always better to ground both, note that they are shorted together by the metal shiled of the connector so if you are tight for routing space, you _could_ connect only one to ground and leave the other unconnected.
