Unable to assign new footprint

Hello, I created a new footprint - RAD-0.19 for a capacitor.   I went into the Footprint Manager to assign it but I cannot locate it in my workspace when I enter "RAD-0.19" in the search box.   Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? The library element I was attempting to assign was "0.1uF RAD-0.19". Thanks!
