I have created a library symbol for a schematic component and placed this component in several schematics. Now I have updated the library component and want to update the symbols in the schematic. How do I do this?

Sorry but at the moment there is no auotmated way to do this. So, to do this manually: For each sheet, delete the symbol then place the new one back into the schematic. Resave the schematic.

For anyone else who comes across this topic wondering how to update symbols, in the current version (V6.4.14) you can use the Edit -> Update All... menu item. If you don't want to update everything, use the Select All checkbox to toggle all the symbols off, then just select the symbol(s) you want to update.
