Using existing PCBs and making a small change to the schematic, I update the PCB as usual and then the design manager reports there are zero components and hence won't do a DRC or highlight any nets, even though they are all quite visible.  Seems totally random and not reproducable.  Only fix seems to be to log out and in again.
