Hi, Does anyone know how you can change the size of the tracks that connect to a via in a plane? I think the default track settings is too wide and the via or pad is too thermally connected to the plane and difficult to solder to due to thermal dissipation. ![image.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/n33x1fS3Axcr7NlHOav5Lr5gWP964wojNoGysdXl.png) Anyone know how to change the width of the tracks connecting to hole/via?? Hi, Thanks that was very useful. I had not noticed the special menu that pops up when you have a copper pour selected. I have changed the default '0' setting to 0.5mm which I think will work much better. As a follow up question, I tried to add a hole (1.25mm) to be able to solder to an earth plane. I added it as a via, as its connected to both top and bottom copper. I have checked that it is connected to the GND net, and redrawn the copper planes, but it will not spoke the connection to this new via. Any ideas on how to do this? I fear that I may not be able to solder to it, if it is too thermally connected to the ground plane... Thanks

Here's the correct way to add a wire solder pad: 1. Place a symbol for a single pin connector in your schematic; 2. Find and existing or edit or create from new a footprint - and save it with a unique name and a clear Description - comprising a single multi-layer pad with the required hole diameter and pad annulus;  3. Assign that footprint to the symbol; 4.
