Vias and copper layers

Hello A stupid question probably, still any help is appreciated. My 2 layer PCB has a copper pour on the top layer for GND net and a copper pour on the bottom layer for VCC Bus. If there is a VIA from top layer to bottom layer for a particular track, will it short the copper pours?

No short, there are space for copper pours
