When Generating ESP8266 D1 MiniPCB - Board Shows Twice Why??

Hi, This is my second time using EasyEDA. First time was pretty simple. When I generate the schematic the D1 mini shows twice. What am I supposed to do with that? I expected holes that would take the board's header pins, but instead there are two board to place on the PCB. What am I doing wrong? Here is a link (hope this is public): [https://oshwlab.com/savijone/garagedooropener](https://oshwlab.com/savijone/garagedooropener) Thanks, Jeff

Sorry but your project is private so only you can see it: ![image.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/tv7qgALczr61MDbNyB6DWEwnvo5nkpbGuZfwr5LA.png) Please see: [https://u.easyeda.com/forum/topic/How-to-make-a-Project-public-and-share-the-links-to-it-9f006513b84b412580910905b0281d20](https://u.easyeda.com/forum/topic/How-to-make-a-Project-public-and-share-the-links-to-it-9f006513b84b412580910905b0281d20)

@andyfierman Followed those directions. Gave me this link: [https://oshwlab.com/savijone/garagedooropener](https://oshwlab.com/savijone/garagedooropener) Although when I use it I cant see the unplaced components on the PCB that shows two d1 mini's. If I need to provide a different link, let me know.

@andyfierman Forget the last part of that, you can see the two d1 mini's if you scroll down on that link.

Hi! Just noticed that you actually have two modules in your schematic. U1 and U3 are the one and the same. That is why it appears twice in your layout. You need to remove one of them. Maybe remove U3? Regards, Markus Virtanen HW / Electronics Designer

@savijone, There are several things that you need to correct in your schematic before you even think about doing **Convert to PCB...** 1. As Markus_ee has pointed out, you have two WEMOS-D1-MINI devices in your schematic one prefixed U1, the other prefixed U3; 2. In you PCB you have two WEMOS-D1-MINI footprints one prefixed U3 and one prefixed as U5; 3. You also have two devices in the schematic prefixed U1: the "Temp Sensor" and (as stated above) one of the WEMOS-D1-MINI devices; 4. The device in your "Relay" section is a WEMOS-D1-MINI device and not a relay. I suggest that because it is in such an early state of design, you: 1. Read and follow the instructions in the Essential Checklists, (4) and (6), in (2) in: [https://easyeda.com/forum/topic/How-to-ask-for-help-and-get-an-answer-71b17a40d15442349eaecbfae083e46a](https://easyeda.com/forum/topic/How-to-ask-for-help-and-get-an-answer-71b17a40d15442349eaecbfae083e46a) 2. delete your current PCB file; 3. fix the errors in your schematic; 4. and only after going through the checklists again, then do **Convert to PCB...** That should solve all your problems. :)
