Why is volProbe zero

It is so simple, therefore I must have done some really basic error. Se: [https://easyeda\.com/editor\#id=\|2cfbb1e99d2848ff978ea092a5c54dd5\|5f779eb00269482f8198f85416bd4bc0](https://easyeda.com/editor#id=|2cfbb1e99d2848ff978ea092a5c54dd5|5f779eb00269482f8198f85416bd4bc0) volProbe is on the other side of the diode and the voltage there should follow the pulse but be a little lower. I don't understand why it is zero...

The problem is that the diode you have chosen has no spice model associated with it. You can see this by inspecting the spice netlist: ![image.png](//image.easyeda.com/pullimage/y1Z2ymrViPOqStjXnajHr0ut8cyWObQ9KKYzlvcA.png) The diode does not appear anywhere in the spice netlist. To avoid this sort of problem, please read, work through and play with the examples in the EasyEDA Simulation Tutorial: [https://docs.easyeda.com/en/Simulation/Chapter1-Introduction/index.html](https://docs.easyeda.com/en/Simulation/Chapter1-Introduction/index.html)

@andyfierman Thanks for sorting that out! I found this diode using the Search libraries, have now tried about 5 other shottky diodes, but even if they appear in the library they seem empty of any spice model since neither appear in the spice netlist (when exporting the sheet as described). When I read [https://docs.easyeda.com/en/Simulation/Chapter1-Introduction/index.html#How-to-find-simulatable-parts-in-EasyEDA](https://docs.easyeda.com/en/Simulation/Chapter1-Introduction/index.html#How-to-find-simulatable-parts-in-EasyEDA) it seems to me all models found there should be simulatable. I seem to miss any comment on how to find out which of the models found in this library search does actually contain a spice model.

@PjotrEasth, "When I read [https://docs.easyeda.com/en/Simulation/Chapter1-Introduction/index.html#How-to-find-simulatable-parts-in-EasyEDA](https://docs.easyeda.com/en/Simulation/Chapter1-Introduction/index.html#How-to-find-simulatable-parts-in-EasyEDA) it seems to me all models found there should be simulatable." Why? "I seem to miss any comment on how to find out which of the models found in this library search does actually contain a spice model." IDo exactly what it says in the Tutorial: #### From V4.1.3. - except for the simple passive R, L, C and the voltage and current source devices - most of the schematic symbols for the active devices shown in the left hand panel under the `EELib` button no longer have spice models associated with them. Schematic symbols with spice simulation models attached to them can now be found using the: **Libraries** button in the left-hand panel or; **SHIFT+F** in any editor window. then click on `SCH Libs`, hover the mouse over the `System` class then slide down and click on any of the grey buttons under the **Spice Simulation** heading: **![image.png](https://image.easyeda.com/pullimage/ZBpaUPXuEdc6N8Tfp0gbSe75gk8BybDoxdwq67gE.png)** Only the grey tags under the Spice Simulation heading: **Spice Gate, Spice Source, Spice Discrete, Spice Regulator and Spice Miscellaneous** have models associated with them. For more information, please see: [https://docs.easyeda.com/en/Simulation/Chapter14-Device-models/index.html](https://docs.easyeda.com/en/Simulation/Chapter14-Device-models/index.html) in the Spice Simulation Tutorial.

Thanks for the swift reply, I have not had time to access EasyEDA until now. Well I was a little quick in reading: #### [[From V4.1.3. - except for the simple passive R, L, C and the voltage and current source devices - most of the schematic symbols for the active devices shown in the left hand panel under the `EELib` button no longer have spice models associated with them. Schematic symbols with spice simulation models attached to them can now be found using the: **Libraries** button in the left-hand panel or; **SHIFT+F** in any editor window.]] I should have continued, to understand that in this Search libraries only the "chapter" System / **Spice Simulation** actually included devices with spice models.... For my needs, I think I have to look elsewhere. But thanks for the help!!

If you need to simulate other devices then Chapter 14 describes ways to do that.
