XT30U-F part layout used on PCB doesn't fit part I used part XT30U-F from LCSC in my schematics and when populating the PCB I found that the part does not fit the PCB layout. Using the same part layout, I modified the part layout to accomidate the XT30U-F part on a new pcb. when creating the Gerber files the DRC check showed clearance errors on those parts. I checked the dimensions and found no clearance problems.  Does anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve these errors?

Can you post: 1. The LCSC stock code;  2. The url of the part in EasyEDA or a screenshot showing where you find it in the search libraries tool?

It's this part: [https://lcsc\.com/product\-detail/Banana\-and\-Tip\-Connectors\_Changzhou\-Amass\-Elec\-XT30U\-F\-Female\_C99102\.html](https://lcsc.com/product-detail/Banana-and-Tip-Connectors_Changzhou-Amass-Elec-XT30U-F-Female_C99102.html)

@John Morton, Please read: [https://easyeda.com/forum/topic/How-to-ask-for-help-and-get-an-answer-71b17a40d15442349eaecbfae083e46a](https://easyeda.com/forum/topic/How-to-ask-for-help-and-get-an-answer-71b17a40d15442349eaecbfae083e46a) At present there is no PCB footprint in the libraries for the [XT30U-F](https://datasheet.lcsc.com/szlcsc/Changzhou-Amass-Elec-XT30U-F-Female_C99102.pdf). The diagram on page 13 of: [https://datasheet.lcsc.com/szlcsc/Changzhou-Amass-Elec-XT30U-F-Female_C99102.pdf](https://datasheet.lcsc.com/szlcsc/Changzhou-Amass-Elec-XT30U-F-Female_C99102.pdf) shows that this connector is intended for solder bucket connection to wires. It is not designed to be used for connection directly to a PCB. If you want to use it on a PCB then you will have to design your own PCB Footprint for it. You will then have to assign that footprint to whatever 2 pin connector symbol that you have used in your schematic to represent this part. There are links to Tutorials and other detailed documentation describing how to do this in the above forum topic. Thanks.

@andyfierman Thanks for your help. Apparently i have selected an incorrect part for my project. I'm attempting to use a XT30 male and female connector on my PCB for power connectors. I ordered 10 PCB and the layout design did not allow for the parts I ordered. I was able to make it work but I would like to correct my work with new boards. I'm new at this making PCBs this way which I prefer. I redrew the connector layout using my calipers, but when I use it I get DRC errors. I feel confident that the new layout is correct. Thanks again for your help. I will attempt to assign my new footprint to a connector symbol for my schematic. Thanks for all the help.

@jtmortoniii, This: [How to create findable footprints and searchable symbols](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ZRkPPMID68mBz9j9RMIJARNSXK12PDULZXP7kiThvDg/edit?usp=sharing) describes in detail the process of creating PCB Footprints and Schematic Symbols that then have the appropriate footprint assigned to them. You can simplify the process by just placing in the schematic, a generic (I assume, in your case) 2 pin connector or header from the EE Lib in the left hand panel, and then reassigning the symbol's Package attribute to that of the PCB Footprint you have created.
