.dxf import causes ratlines to disconnect

**BUG** Concise problem statement: Steps to reproduce bug: 1.Import .dxf file (as a template to facilitate exact placement of a curved array of switches) into PCB, immediately after converting schematic to PCB.( I imported to the 'Documentation' layer) 2.Move switch symbols to template centres. 3. Results:Ratlines disconnect from moved symbol Expected results:Ratlines to re-position with symbol. Moving the same symbols without importing the .dxf retains the ratlines correctly. I have tried importing to different layers but the effect is the same, as is using 2004,2007 and 2010 releases of .dxf. Possibly coincidentally, importing switch symbols angled instead of aligned with X and Y planes at 0 degrees, results in the symbols being rotated back to 0. Browser:Chrome, in both Windows and Mac OS

Can you share an example of this either publically or privately with support?

Of course Andy! It's probably just me being thick. :-) Presumably you will need both the project file and the .dxf so that you can try it yourself - or shall I do the import before sharing it? Is there, perhaps, a better way to achieve precise component placement when it doesn't fit a grid layout? Best regards Graham

To help investigate, it would be best to share both the PCB and the dxf as separate files plus the merged file. Then we can better see where the problem may lie. Do the ratlines reappear if you save the file then either press the `F5` key (reload the page) offload and reopen the file?

Best regards Graham @andyfierman Hi Andy Wen I reopened the file to investigate the problem had, indeed, disappeared - which ties in with your last question. Thank you - and sorry for wasting your time. Best regards . Graham

Hi Graham, Thanks for posting back. Glad you're back on track now (sorry, I promise that was an unintentional pun...). :)
