ammeter symbol in most tutorial examples acts like an open circuit

I have been going through the simulation tutorial.  In many of the example is an ammeter symbol.  In most cases when I try to simulate those example I get unexpected results.  Putting a 1 ohm resister across the ammeter gives the expected (at least in my view) results.

Dunno, is there a specific one you can point to? Works for me.

OK saw your other thread (should really be one!)- I replaced the ammeter in the schematic for the one found in libraries and it works.

Sorry about that, the first thread I meant to post in 'bugs' but mistakenly got posted into Spice Simulate.  Seems 'for the student' novice makes it a little difficult when tutorial examples don't run correctly.

For those following, the thread:

gives some examples.
