@support Thanks for the prompt reply. It looks like this only works for the case when the hole is at the board edge. This is a way to do it using the Slot tool: 1) Place 3 pads, position and dimension them as required: ![enter image description here][1] 2) Turn each pad into a slot of the desired dimensions which results in: ![enter image description here][2] Note that in this case the slot has to be rotated by 90 degrees: * It may be possible to achieve the same effect by placing and dimensioning the three pads but only defining the centre pad to have a slot of set to the total required length. @support When placing holes like this, it will not let me run the autorouter because "objects with net are outside the board outline. Any suggestions?

Temporarily enlarge the board outline around the holes then run the autorouter then reset the board outline?

@andyfierman, @support, I have the same issues where I can't use auto route with castellated holes as per above "objects with net are outside the board outline". When I create a temporary board outline outside the board of course the auto router uses this "temporary space" and requires manual manipulation. Its a bit odd that Easyeda can't handle castellated holes. 

@tboyle you need to keep only one board outline for auto route

@tboyle, in your image, the outer board outline appears incorrect because the lines cross instead of being closed. I think to make the "temporarily increase the board outline" idea work, it it also necessary to fill the expanded area with Solid Regions set to No Solid to create a keepout area to stop the autorouter from routing in the extra area temporarily created.
