It looks like my design rule of 15 mil is obeyed but the properties window of the copper area still shows 10 mil clearance which can lead to human error.

Ideally the there should stand 15 mil as it is the default from the design rule for this net.
Right now I have to go through it and change it manually so the displayed values matches the design rule.

There are other issues with a lot of copper areas like rebuilding taking long enough to write post this and prepear some tea. Meanwhile another one is when you move down in the copper area manager the window scrolls accordingly. If you move up most of the time the item moved up in the list moves faster then the scrollbar/viewed window. This propably due to me clicking faster then the scolling animation.
Aynway that's not what this post is about: Why is the clearance always 10 mil if the design rules is 15 mil and the copper area clearly follows the 15 mil. Also why isn't there even the option to adjust the default value? It is always 10 mil.
I am looking at the behaviour of clearances with tracks and copper areas.
I think the behaviour is logical but there is another issue which is confusing because the copper area clearance does not follow the copper area order of priority in the Copper Area Manager.
When I can produce an example to demonstrate and explain, I will post a link to it back here.

There are one two logical option:
1\. use the shown clearance in the copper area tab and throw a DRC error
2\. automatically adjust the clearance to not be smaller then the design rule
the current option: show the clearance but ignore it as design rule is larger doesn't make any sense at all
@Xenons,
The short answer is to set all the clearances in the Copper Area Manager to some value smaller than anything you will use in your design and then ignore the clearances in the Copper Area Manager and just use those in the Design Manager.
But that is complicated by the behaviour of the Order function of the Copper Area Manager so the long answer is to see:
