When I select a wire in a schematic, often multiple segments are highlighted. Sometimes I would like to delete only one segment of the wire, not the whole wire. It seems this is not possible at the moment. It would be nice to have it.

Thanks. As you mention, not the same of what I asked, but in most situation it is a good workaround.

Easy to use and quick to get started. 
Not eaxactly what you want but double-click on the green dot deletes that vertex. Drag a blue dot adds a new vertex.
