hello when placing a via on a pad from like a 1206 0805 resistor can it automatically register the net name and connect to the pad?
right now after placing a via on such a pad, i need to give it its net name and connect a trace from the pad center to the via center to connect both.
it does that on a trace, but not on pads or copper areas.
also, could copper area automatically use the net name it is covering? if multiple, leave empty.

the copper area we won't keep it empty, many users only need a GND copper. the copper net default as GND.
no matter we leave it empty or GND, if you need many coppers with different net name, you still have to change one by one.
