hi, I'm lloyd and im new both on this amazing tool and in electronics but I'm ready to learn. now, I have been trying to get a component from the library, its a 555 chip, I'm struggling to get it onto the worksheet, how do I go about with it, please help

Please have a look at the EasyEDA Tutorial pages at: <https://easyeda.com/Doc/Tutorial/introduction.htm#Howtofindallthosesymbolsandfootprints:> <https://easyeda.com/Doc/Tutorial/schematic.htm#HowToFindTheSchematicLibraries> and: <https://easyeda.com/Doc/Tutorial/schematic.htm#Placing Components> The basic rule is to find the part then either left-click on it in the Navigation panel or click on the **Place** button in the **Preview** or the **Search** window as appropriate and then left-click on the canvas to place it. Not that Click and Drag does not work. Post back if you need more help. :)
