hi! I am building a file to create study notes in Word. How can I transfer a mathematics formula of the word for easyeda to add to the file that I am creating? Thanks.

Hi Arlindo, Welcome to EasyEDA. EasyEDA only supports basic text formats so you cannot import mathematical formulae that have been formatted in more advanced mathematical formula editing formats and fonts. However, if you can rewrite your formula in plain text like this: Rpar = R1*R2/(R1+R2) or Rpar = (1/R1+1/R2)^-1 then you can just copy and paste into a text box in a schematic sheet. Alternatively if you can convert your text including the formulae into an image then you can link the image into the schematic as described here: https://easyeda.com/forum/topic/How_to_load_Image_in_your_Schematic_Background_-u20Aa753p You can make the image any size you wish. If you do not need the formula in the schematic than another way is to edit your project page in: https://easyeda.com/my-projects and upload a separate file as an attachment. You can upload files in jpg, gif, png, jpeg, zip, rar, tar, gz, 7z, doc, docx, txt and xml formats with a maximum size of 8MB per file.

Well done any research work, and has also passed the tutorial, but I confess that I can not quite understand the messages. So, already asked for help because of the Ohm symbol. I've seen examples in the tutorial, but I try to follow the instructions and does not work at all. I think a video would help a lot. Because in my opinion the program is excellent

Ah! OK. I have just answered your question about the `Ω` symbol and realised that you can copy and paste other mathematical symbols from the **Mathematical Operators** Special Characters list such as: the integral symbol: `∫`; the Sigma symbol: `∑`; and several more: `∂, ∆, ∏, √, ∞, ≈, ≠, ≡, ≤, ≥` and so on Please see: https://easyeda.com/andyfierman/How_to_enter_special_characters_into_EasyEDA_text-oRPNLJ520 Please also note that you can actually do some fairly powerful maths directly in EasyEDA using the simulation tools. For more, please see: https://easyeda.com/Doc/Simulation-eBook/ in particular: https://easyeda.com/Doc/Simulation-eBook/Expressions.htm#Expressions https://easyeda.com/Doc/Simulation-eBook/Parameters.htm#Parameters https://easyeda.com/Doc/Simulation-eBook/Functions.htm#Functions and https://easyeda.com/Doc/Simulation-eBook/Making-measurements-of-simulation-results.htm#Making-measurements-of-simulation-results

I added the ohm symbol to my schem. and during a export, import procedure, all the Ω symbols turned into a Chinese character.

thank you for your comment and help. I am to use the Word, touch the symbol and then copy and past, and so far is working. Thank you very much for your help I'm counting on you

**@Arlindo**, I hope you can understand how to try all the different possibilities! :) **@Zeke**, "during a export, import procedure, all the Ω symbols turned into a Chinese character" Could you explain a little more about what import/export you were doing and maybe share an example? I don't know if it makes any difference in EasyEDA but it may be that you may have to choose between the (at least) two available Ω symbols. There is: Ω = U+0A39 in Basic Greek and Ω = U+2126 in Letterlike symbols.
