If all you want to do is draw a schematic with an IRF840 in it then either just place the **MOSFET(Nch) Enhancement** symbol from the **EasyEDA Libs** or choose one from **More Libraries...** (do **Shift+F** in any editor canvas and search for 'xtal') and then edit the Model property (in the MOSFET Nch Enhancement symbol) or the Name property (in the other symbols) to IRF840.
To edit the Model or Name, open the right hand **Properties** panel (using **Toggle right bar**: hover the mouse over the far right hand vertical blue strip).
If you want to actually simulate an IRF840 then please see this example:
<https://easyeda.com/file_view_N-channel-depletion-mode-MOSFET-using-an-EasyEDA-subckt_sHBTNtZhz.htm>
This particular example is for a depletion mode MOSFET and uses the MOSFET(Nch) depletion symbol but the steps you take are exactly the same, just using the MOSFET(Nch) Enhancement symbol.
You will find an IRF840 .subckt here:
