Al components are in place but i dont find how to change end insert an via in a practical/ proper way to switch between top and bottom layer . (The via has to take the same name of the nets i suppose, or do i have to give it always this name myself/ or is this automatically done ? Thanks in advance, eddy

Please study the EasyEDA Tutorial in (2) in: [https://easyeda.com/forum/topic/How-to-ask-for-help-and-get-an-answer-71b17a40d15442349eaecbfae083e46a](https://easyeda.com/forum/topic/How-to-ask-for-help-and-get-an-answer-71b17a40d15442349eaecbfae083e46a) Also see my reply to: [https://easyeda.com/forum/topic/Via-connections-to-ground-plane-810208831d114e7a8d861eb97ae3be59](https://easyeda.com/forum/topic/Via-connections-to-ground-plane-810208831d114e7a8d861eb97ae3be59)

@ydde2, Is the V key not in the same place on an AZERTY keyboard as on a QWERTY? [https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/AZERTY](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/AZERTY)

Thanks Andy, but on my keyboard it works with V not with B.  I also discovered that  right and left mouse buttons are somethimes changed in other programs like in Fusion 360 (to make 3D objects) regards eddy .

From my post: "The way to add a via is to run a track on the desired (e.g. Top) layer then left click once to place a vertex (green dot) where you want the via then press the B key to place a via and swap onto the other layer (i.e. bottom) then continue dragging to continue drawing the track on the opposite layer." So the procedure is: 1. Left-click to start a track;  2. Left-click to stop it where you want the via;  3. Press the B hotkey to swap to the bottom layer (or T hotkey to swap to the top layer);  4. Move the mouse to continue routing on the Bottom (or Top) layer. You do not need to use the V key.

No problem eddy. Animated gifs are useful but without sound they can be only limited help. Any other questions: just ask. :)

Yes it is. I have an other question Andy. I encounter the following problem: after makeing the schematic, then convert to pcb, then arrange parts and manualy route them, everything seems fine. But i like to add some testpins to( my schematic and also to) my pcb , without doing the hole cycle from the beginning. So i put some pins on the pcb myself , but they aren't on the schematic .How to proceed correctly please ? Regards eddy

"So i put some pins on the pcb myself , but they aren't on the schematic .How to proceed correctly please ?" You're thinking about it the wrong way round. * The Schematic is the master document, not the PCB. 1. Find a suitable PCB Footprint (there are through hole and single layer test pads in the libraries);  2. Note the Package name;  3. Find a suitable schematic symbol (maybe just a single pin header from the EELib or there are through hole and single layer test point symbols in the libraries); 4. Assign the Package name to them; 5. Place them on the relevant nets in you schematic;  6. Do Update PCB... or Import Changes...;  7. Place them imported test pads in the PCB;  8. Done. There's more detail about why this is important and how it works this in (2.2), (2.3) and (4) in (2) in: [https://easyeda.com/forum/topic/How-to-ask-for-help-and-get-an-answer-71b17a40d15442349eaecbfae083e46a](https://easyeda.com/forum/topic/How-to-ask-for-help-and-get-an-answer-71b17a40d15442349eaecbfae083e46a)
