Dear Mr., i have discovered your software, seems very interesting. I wanted to create a small demo schematic and PCB for my recent needs, and I have discovered first great problem : I can not find a D-SUB connector at all... I believe this kind of connectors are well known, so it seems strange. Even I have no idea how to connect more libraries of componnets + then there is another problem : where to get the largest and best library? I believe <I must do something wrong, if I can not find such a basic thing, but I would really appreciate, if you can help me out somehow. Kind regards. Jozef, info@ledeco.sk

Hi info, Welcome to EasyEDA. You should find D type connectors in the SparkFun Libs and Packages libraries in the left hand panel. Try Filtering on DB9 or DB15. It looks like we may need to do a bit more work on the **Find Libraries...** function because although the SparkFun PCB footprints can be found that way, the Schematic Symbols don't show up in a search that way! If a library parts are not exactly what you need then you can copy them into you own library, rename, edit and save it so that it appears under **Find Libraries...** under *User libs* with your name against it. For help on actually drawing a schematic have a look through: [https://easyeda.com/Doc/Tutorial/] [ttp://easyeda.com/EasyEDAtutorial/]: https://easyeda.com/Doc/Tutorial/

Hi there, thank you for your kind reply. I was trying to find the connector everywhere, but unsuccesfully. I tried original manufacturers SKU, names as Canon, connector , SUB, D-SUB, etc....but DB25 I did not try. Maybe a larger window with search parameters, categorization, with all databases all in one place might be very flexible and fast to find what U need. Switchng between databases is pretty confusing. Thank you anyway.I am going to search another parts, hope <I find the key how it is named..

And to your idea of : schematics in database are not really specific enough, I think schematics could be used as categories, but more detailed product photos would be great to have. Now I am strugling to find a DC 2.1 power connector...so far no success.

Hi info, Your suggestion of some sort of picture for an item is interesting: each item would have to have a schematic symbol and a PCB footprint associated with it. Maybe you could spare the time to raise this as a **Feature Request...**? Andy
